Tonight: Networking. Royal Oak. BlackFinn. Back room. 5pm Be there.

Reminder – if you’re in or around the metro Detroit information technology community, there’s only one place you need to be starting at 5pm.

No agenda. No speakers. No 30-second commercials. No cover charge. No free lunch. Never. Just networking with IT professionals. Plain and simple.

IT in the D was started by IT professionals for IT professionals. We didn’t like any other group out there, so we started our own! At our metro Detroit networking events, you might meet some recruiters, some out of work developers, some sales guys, some network admins, some web guys and some senior level management…

So come on out, bring some business cards (or don’t, it’s OK), meet some like-minded people in the Metro Detroit area, and who knows, you could meet a life-long friend, a new business partner, or no one at all…it’s what you make of it that makes great.

As always, we are networking Detroit, one beer at a time.  Unless otherwise noted, all events start at 5:01pm.  Like we’ve said elsewhere, we don’t expect you to take the morning, afternoon, or all day off to attend our networking functions – we want you to be able to network after work with IT professionals here in the metro Detroit area in a casual, yet surprisingly productive, manner.

Want to see what our events are like?  Check out some pics from previous Pink Slip Party events or our casual networking events.

1975232_372558146220031_861018252_nOur next casual networking event for professionals in and around the information technology community here in metro Detroit is tonight, Thursday, April 17th over at BlackFinn in Royal Oak.

5:01pm start time in the back room.

As always, there’s no cover charge, no agenda, no speakers…just come on out and meet some of the best and brightest folks here in the metro Detroit area.  Startup owners, developers, project managers, recruiter, analysts, help desk jockeys and executives.  There’s always a little bit of everything at these events.

Looking forward to seeing you there.
