IT in the D live broadcast – Episode 57: Abracadabra

Tonight we’re joined by Gerald Smith, the Senior Manager, Government and Regulatory Affairs for Comcast’s Heartland region, and Michael Mode, an entrepreneur, a speaker, and oh yeah…he’s also a magician.

Gerald is joining us to talk about Comcast’s “Internet Essentials” program providing up to six months of free high-speed Internet service to low-income families with school-aged children – continuing at a discounted $9.95 a month after the free period. Additionally, families have the option to purchase a computer for less than $150; and multiple options for digital literacy training in print, online, and in-person.

Michael is joining us to talk about his various business endeavors, lessons learned, and…and I promised him I wouldn’t make any corny “magic in your own life” jokes…
