Written in ten days, over twenty years ago, JavaScript has become a force of the internet.  In Introduction to JavaScript, you’ll get a foundation in JavaScript that you can build upon with ease! JavaScript is the language of interactivity on the web. If you want to learn programming, it is a pretty good place to start!

Join us for GDI Ann Arbor’s Introduction to JavaScript course, designed for those who have very limited or no programming experience.

During this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the basic components of a programming language: data types, functions, conditional statements and loops. We’ll mix lecture and practice, and we’ll work through lots of problems together. You’ll leave the workshop with several tested tutorials to work through on your own.

The course will consist of four sessions. By the end of the class, attendees will have a basic understanding of JavaScript.

PREREQUISITES: This is a beginner-level course and a basic understanding of HTML and CSS would be great. This class is designed for those who have very limited or no programming experience.
