Intro to Game Dev in Unity3D

Unity3D is a powerful, cross-platform game engine that drives many of today’s most popular computer, mobile, and console games; it has also become a critical tool in many Virtual Reality projects. This workshop will provide an introduction to Unity’s editing environment including Unity scripts. In this workshop, learners will complete a game; at the end of this course, learners will be able to create and deploy their own games

Prerequisites: 

Unity is an easy-to-use environment and basic C# code will be provided to make the course exercises work.  Workshop attendees should be comfortable with their operating system (PC or MacOS), proficient with a web browser, and should have at least an elementary understanding of code, such as taking a Grand Circus Intro to Coding Workshop.

Materials to bring to class:

All students should bring a laptop with Unity3D 5.5.x already installed by the first night of class.  Installation instructions will be shared after registration.
