Join us at Grand Circus for our quarterly women’s event! This panel discussion will focus on balancing life, work and self – you’ll hear from women from diverse professional backgrounds with unique perspectives on what work / life balance means to them and how to achieve it.

• Jen Haran has been at Google for 9 years and currently leads the East Coast Mid-Market Brand Sales Teams at Google. Her team partners with some of the largest and fastest growing mid-market businesses to leverage Google’s advertising solutions to meet their business objectives. Prior to her current role Jen held various sales leadership & international roles across both the retail and auto sectors. Before joining Google Jen worked in computer programming and kitchen design. Jen earned a MBA from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University. She currently resides in Ann Arbor with her husband two children.
• Alexandrea Thrubis‘ career is focused on making a positive impact on the community. Out of college, she attained her first dream job of working in Major League Baseball. Alexandrea managed the Community Relations programs and partnerships of the Detroit Tigers and Brockton Rox in Massachusetts. Through these programs, she paired the company and its players with charitable organizations to support many worthy causes in the local community. She also coordinated the marketing and public relations efforts associated with such partnerships. After 13 years in baseball, Alexandrea recently made a career change to focus on improving Michigan through the entrepreneurship. She now serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Endeavor Detroit leading the high-impact entrepreneurship movement in Michigan and beyond. She is currently building and executing a marketing and communications strategy for Endeavor Detroit to share how the nonprofit organization is supporting the growth of entrepreneurs and their companies. Additionally, Alexandrea is an adjunct professor at Michigan State University teaching Public Relations. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Variety, the Children’s Charity as well as the Advisory Board and Development Committee for the Salvation Army, Metro Detroit. Alexandrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Master of Arts in Public Relations from Michigan State University.
