Code & Coffee is a monthly opportunity for you to practice your skills, meet new friends, and get help if you need it. Bring your laptop, your recent projects, and your programming problems! Don’t have a project yet? We’re happy to just chat about all things code and GDI.
Joe Schoch from the Talent Engagement team at Pillar Technology, a software consultancy in Ann Arbor, will also be joining us for this event. Joe has a passion for helping people find their careers within the Detroit/Ann Arbor tech community. He is happy to assist with resume critiques, interview feedback, recruitment process questions, and career advice – pretty much anything you can think of!
All are welcome regardless of gender or skill level, whether or not you’ve attended past Girl Develop It events. If you’re a beginner, we’ll be right there to help you work through your questions as needed. Code & Coffee events are relaxed and informal, intended as a way for our community to work and play together while providing each other with ongoing support and feedback.
This event is free, though of course, we encourage you to support our fantastic host, Espresso Royale (http://www.espressoroyale.com/michigan-shops.html).
Feel free to come early, stay late, and/or drop in whenever you can.
We can’t wait to see you!
Espresso Royale (http://www.espressoroyale.com/michigan-shops.html) has always been known for its friendly staff, unmatched drink quality and a service style that is casual and welcoming. That friendliness comes from a heartfelt philosophy. Not a corporate slogan, but a people driven philosophy.
All attendees are expected to abide by the Girl Develop It Code of Conduct (http://www.girldevelopit.com/codeofconduct).
