Hundreds of jobs in the metro Detroit Information Technology Industry available at a low-pressure, no-cost networking event on September 19th in Detroit, Michigan. But don’t call it a Job Fair.
With more than 550 hires taking place through their events now in the books, Information Technology networking organization ITintheD.com is presenting their next Pink Slip Party which is being held on Thursday, September 19th. After an extremely successful event on 3/13/13, the Pink Slip Party event is returning to St Andrews Hall in downtown Detroit, Michigan at 5:00PM sharp. Even though hundreds of jobs have been found via previous events, the group’s organizers stress that their events are not job fairs, but rather networking events dedicated to improving and enhancing connections throughout the Information Technology community in the area…
Anyone connected to the IT industry is welcome to attend ITintheD.com event, and this Pink Slip Party is no exception. While this invitation is being extended specifically to Information Technology employees in the Metro Detroit area who are looking for new jobs and those looking to hire them, the core focus and purpose of the group is still networking and building relationships, and so there is no requirement that you be looking to hire or get hired to attend.
Job seekers will have the ability to network with dozens of the top IT recruiters and headhunters in the Metro Detroit area, who will be wearing badges and easily identifiable. Recruiters and Hiring Managers will have the ability to talk with candidates running the gamut of the IT field – developers, architects, project and program managers, analysts, help desk personnel and more. Those looking to extend their professional reach and network will have some of the best and brightest people in the industry to meet and get to know. As with all ITintheD.com events, this Pink Slip Party is completely free to attend for job seekers, recruiters, and anyone else in and around the Information Technology industry that wants to participate. Food and beverages will be available for all attendees thanks to the generous sponsors of the event.
How To Attend
Details and directions for the event are available at the www.ITinTheD.org website. Job seekers can send an email to contact@ITinTheD.com with their resume as an attachment to get it in the hands of recruiters who are coming before the event takes place. Recruiters and hiring managers are asked to contact the group also at contact@ITinTheD.com in advance of the event so that badges can be ready and waiting when they arrive. Again, there are no charges, no costs, no fees – just an email and the organizers will guide you from there.
