Yeah, yeah, yeah…”Opening Day”!
While you’re semi-conscious on the couch tonight, we’ll be live from 9pm to 11pm with episode 86 of our weekly broadcast with some fun guests, good conversations, and it ought to be entertaining after the day’s events.
We’ve also got some blog entries for you, we’ve got an event coming up next week at Blackfinn, and a whole bunch more fun and excitement, so away we go…
We’re continuing our “two events per month” theme at our home base, the back room of the Blackfinn in Royal Oak. We’ll be there every third Thursday throughout the year, so this should be pretty familiar territory.
5pm start time, no cover charge to get in, no sales pitches, no agendas, no nonsense. Just good, solid opportunities to get to know some of the best and brightest folks in the metro Detroit information technology community. Looking forward to seeing you there.
We had a nice event last Wednesday at Firebird Tavern. Decent turn out, great conversations, phenomenal room, and we’re definitely going to be back there again.
Mics go live at 9pm like always, and we’ve got some great guests and conversations lined up…not to mention a wholesale flashback to 1986 with our intro and breaks for the sounds, shows and films of the year.
We’re going to be joined by repeat guest Russ Dotson, now back stateside and diving back into the thick of things with Brightwing as a recruiter again, so we’ll cover his fun and excitement overseas, as well as what it’s like transitioning back into the I.T. world.
Also in-studio is Leanne Rumsey, to talk about the When Visions Collide 2 event taking place this weekend with quite a few local artists that you should check out.
And…well…it’s us…it’s Opening Day…so there’s really no telling what sort of randoms we’ll gather up and drop behind a mic for tonight.
So join us by listening live from 9pm to 11pm, and then hit us up by calling 313.462.0107 or firing up Twitter and hitting @ITintheD during the show.
