As we continue to be horribly frustrated by LinkedIn.com’s constant cycle of “suck”, we’re thinking about making some changes here to ITintheD.com that would enable us to be a little more self-reliant.

By necessity…we’ll probably always have to have a “presence” group on LinkedIn…but we’d like to remove as many dependencies on it as is humanly possible.  It’s a decent tool, and a nice platform…but it keeps breaking and leaving us (and you) in the lurch, and so we figured…well, there has got to be a better way to do things.

But let’s be realistic – before we bother doing anything, it would probably be a good idea to see if you’d even use what we have in mind before we invest the time, effort and energy into it.  Oh, and the other thing to remember is that the things we’re thinking about putting in place…like everything else we do, would be free for you to use.  We’re still not going to turn into “that group”.

So if you’ve got a minute to give us your feedback…

There are only a maximum of two follow-up questions that will appear below based on your answer to the first question, so it should only take you a moment…and we really appreciate the feedback.  There’s plenty of description underneath each of the areas we’re asking for feedback on…we wanted to make sure that you understand what we’re thinking about doing.
