LAST CALL! The Only Place To Be On Thursday Night Is Right Here

You can now pretty much count in hours the time remaining to our Pink Slip Party event at Saint Andrews Hall on Thursday night.

What will you find at Saint Andrews Hall when you get there on Thursday night?  You’ll find the best and brightest in the metro Detroit information technology community.  Thanks to our sponsors – Arrow Strategies, Brightwing, and New Horizons – you’ll find an open bar and the phenomenal food of Bucharest Grill.  You’ll find people genuinely interested in helping you make some great connections, further your career, and even helping you hire someone or get hired.

That’s what we do.

But we think that’s what’s really important to know is what you won’t find…

417534_10151356452057005_1479302454_nWe freely admit it…we don’t “do” the touchy-feely stuff, and so you won’t find any of that there.  We’ve never really seen the need to care about the softer side of life, because we’re more concerned about results.  We get things done.  We help you get things done.

That’s what we do.

So we’re still not asking you to pay to show up to meet people, to hire people, or to get hired.  We don’t want your cash, your contact list, or even your email address.  We want to have an impact on your life, not on your twitter stream.  We want you to feel a sense of accomplishment and pride in what you do, not simply have a vague warm-fuzzy about life.

St_Andrews_Hall_Detroit_MIBecause that’s what we do.

So folks, here’s your last call.  We’re making our final preparations.  The badges get printed tomorrow, so if you’re a recruiter who wants to be there, please take a minute to send us an email – contact@ITinTheD.com letting us know your company, and who will be attending.  Again – there’s no charge or anything, we just want to make sure we have a badge waiting for you, that’s all.  Job seekers – same thing.  Get those resumes into us at contact@ITinTheD.com and we’ll get them out to the recruiters ahead of time who have told us they’re coming.

Why do we do that?  Simple – it helps make the connections at the event easier if you’ve already had the chance to be contacted ahead of time and you each know you’ll be there and what you can talk about at the event.

Downtown.

St Andrews Hall.

Our last two of these events have seen us pack the building with the best and brightest of the metro Detroit information technology community.  People looking to hire.  People looking to hire them.  People just looking to meet others in the community to make connections, bounce ideas off of each other, and help make things happen.

Sound like something you want to be a part of?  Of course it does.
